Aubrey Lang
I’m Aubrey Lang (left), a third year Economics Management student. What brought me to Net Impact was the discrepancy that became apparent to me between the values of our current socioeconomic system and that of a sustainable society. Today’s society is changing at an unprecedented rate both technologically and socially, and it is up to us on an individual level to facilitate this change as something fundamentally constructive and not destructive. By putting on events and being present on campus, our Guelph Chapter of Net Impact seeks to encourage sustainability around campus and promote this constructive social change in such an accelerating society.

Stephanie Vesely
I am currently in my third year working toward a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Guelph. I am a marketing management major with a passion for sustainable commerce and sustainability in general. I spend my summers at a summer camp for girls where we focus on educating the girls on the importance of conserving our natural resources. I absolutely love tripping and the experience of living "off the grid." I practise sustainable leadership by sharing this passion first hand with younger girls and developing their appreciation of the environment! Net Impact gives me the opportunity to share the same values here on campus!
